Pass it on...

Here is the deal: The first five people to comment on this post will get something made by me. My choice. For you.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
What I make will be just for you.
It'll be done this year.
You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. No guarantees, I may sew or stitch or bake something. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
I reserve the right to do whatever I want!

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your own blog and offer the same deal to 5 of your own lucky blog readers.

So, the first 5 people to leave a comment telling me they are in, win a homemade gift by me!

Be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it.

Sweet Spirit of a Child

A few weeks ago all the family got together out at my parents house to celebrate everyone's birthdays for Jan and Feb. While there Brooke and I were sitting on my Mom's couch in the front room and Brooke started getting really excited while looking at the side table. I noticed there was a dish full of colorful M&Ms and thought that must but what she wants. As she leans over the side of the couch to get closer I notice that she is getting excited of the picture that is on the table. I picked up the picture my Mom had sitting there, which was of Jesus Christ. Brooke got so excited and started talking and touching the picture. Then the cutest thing happened. She leaned over and started giving kisses to Jesus. As I sat there watching this my heart was touch by the Spirit. What a wonderful feeling it is to know that my 8 month old baby girl knows who Jesus Christ is and the great love she has for Him. For you to fully appreciate this story you need to know that my daughter does not give kisses. So for her to so willingly do this meant that she knew exactly who was in the picture. I am so gratefully for the spiritual experience that I was able to share with my daughter and for the knowledge that I have that Jesus Christ is my Savior.

Update

Well as you can see I don't frequently update this lovely blog of mine. Blogging is not a high priority for me but I will try and add a few things every few months. We made it through the holidays and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately we were sick for about 6 weeks but made it through. We are hoping to make a few changes to our lives this year. We are working on finding ourselves a lovely home to raise our children in. Kevin is working hard and I have my hands full with the two little ones. Don't give up on me and this blog and hopefully you will hear from me again sometime soon.
